TESTING
The Carteret County Amateur Radio Society Conducts
FCC licensing examinations for prospective new hams and upgrade
examination opportunities for those already licensed.
The examinations are given on the third Saturday of the following
months at 9 am.
January March May
July Sept. Nov.
at the First Presbyterian Church in Morehead City,
NC. The church is located on the corner of Arendell (Hwy. 70) and 17th
St. Enter the Church from the Parking lot on Bridges St.
All
applicants must bring a picture ID and a copy of their present license
and the original and copy of the Certificate of Successful Completion
of Examination
if upgrading to a higher classification.
The FCC requires a fee of $14.00 be paid at the time of the
examination.
